If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

The 1990 Fonsalette Cotes du Rhone, made from yields that were well under 25 hectoliters per hectare, reached 14% alcohol, not surprising given the super-ripeness the southern Rhone enjoyed. The wine displays the essence of cherry and kirsch in its nose, followed by corpulent, sweet, expansive, rich flavors that linger and linger on the palate. It is a lavishly rich Cotes du Rhone, with an unctuous texture and enough alcohol and soft tannins to keep it going for at least 10-15 years.
