All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any errors or omissions or damage caused by packers and shippers, notwithstanding the fact that the Auctioneer may have recommended such shippers or packers to the purchaser.
This consignor, with a European background, grew up with wine as a staple of the family dinner table. What started as a childhood tradition evolved into a genuine interest by the time he was 20, and even now, decades later, he remains just as passionate about it. He built much of his collection while living in Europe during the 90s, sourcing bottles during his travels and through the SAQ. Throughout the years, he has been careful to keep his wines in a cellar with constant temperature and humidity. The quality of the bottles today and their fill levels clearly show the care he took in storing them properly.

This is the tasting note for 1993 Domaine Georges Roumier Bonnes Mares Grand Cru from nan - This has always been a wine that I have admired with its terrific and now fully mature nose that displays really lovely breadth in the form of leather, earth and full-on secondary aromas though no sous-bois is in evident at present. There is excellent richness to the equally complex big-bodied and velvety flavors that possess a really lovely texture, all wrapped in beautifully long and well-balanced finale. For my taste this has arrived at its peak though it should hold here for many years to come. Multiple and consistent notes..
