The tasting note for 2002 Domaine de la Romanee Conti Richebourg Grand Cru is from Robert Parker and the score is 94-96 - Like the 2001, the nose is very broody and reluctant at first before notes of cherry, pencil-case and asphalt begin to develop. The palate is very well-knit and with a slightly coarse texture. Quite linear, does not have the seductive charm of RSV. Again the citrus edge which lends it so much vitality. The finish is very impressive
