All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. The collector began amassing Old World wines when living in Montreal and Toronto and expanded his appreciation for California wine when living in San Francisco. Starting his cellar in the late 1990's, the majority of the wines were purchased directly from the winery or estate and were stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled private cellar.
2002 Screaming Eagle Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has following scores - Vinous 98 , Jeff Leve The Wine Cellar Insider 98, The Wine Advocate 97. 2002 Screaming Eagle Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley has the score of 97+ from Robert Parker and the tasting note -Beautiful floral notes intermixed with creme de cassis, licorice and charcoal jump from the glass of this dense purple-colored 2002. Opulent, broad, full-bodied and more mature than I expected given how this wine showed in its youth, this deep, rich Cabernet Sauvignon is exceptional. However, in this vintage it has to take a back seat to a number of other cuvees. The final blend was 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc.
