All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

The collector began amassing Old World wines when living in Montreal and Toronto and expanded his appreciation for California wine when living in San Francisco. Starting his cellar in the late 1990's, the majority of the wines were purchased directly from the winery or estate and were stored in a temperature and humidity-controlled private cellar.

This is the tasting note for 2005 Harlan Estate Napa Valley Red from Robert Parker - A rich, voluptuous blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Bottled features alluring scents of rubbed sage, cassis, black cherries and freshly turned loam. It's full-bodied, concentrated and supple, with a slightly plush, velvety feel and a lingering, fruit-driven finish. Despite aging in 70% new oak, it's not an oaky wine, with the fruit and earth elements claiming the spotlight.
