All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

The consignor’s passion for wine began during an extensive study of Australian wine regions, eventually leading him to establish his own import agency. While his expertise spans the globe, his personal collecting focus shifted toward Burgundy following the release of the 2002 vintage. All bottles in this collection were acquired through the LCBO and have been meticulously maintained in his custom home cellar, featuring dedicated temperature and humidity controls.

This is the tasting note for 2006 Domaine Robert Arnoux Romanee St Vivant Grand Cru from Robert Parker - A relatively high-toned spicy red and black fruit pinot liqueur nose of real class and elegance merges seamlessly into fresh, vibrant and detailed flavors brimming with both minerality and an underlying sense of tension that adds real energy to the perfectly balanced and gorgeously long finish that doesn't quite have the overall depth of the 2007 but it's not far off either. This should age well for up to a decade, perhaps a bit longer and should be worth the wait though I take pains to note however that it will certainly be capable of holding for much longer. A wine of obvious breed and class.
