All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

This is the tasting note for 2009 Domaine Sylvain Cathiard Fils Vosne Romanee Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru from Robert Parker - Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. As usual, the nose is more closed and introverted than the other Vosne Premier Crus, but it reluctantly unfurls to reveal darker, more broody fruit with hints of violet. The palate is very structured, more stoic but with great breeding. This is a long-term wine that may not show its true colours for several years, but once again there is great mineralite showing on the long, persistent finish. Intuition tells me that this may eventually surpass the RSV.
