All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. This collector from Alberta grew up in a wine loving family and was fortunate to have exposure to great wines at an early age. During the last 20 years he has broadened his appreciation through visits to many of the world’s wine regions. His cellar contains an eclectic collection of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Piedmont and Tuscany and Napa. He has developed excellent relationships with local retailers and purchased his wine through them. It has always been stored in a temperature-controlled cellar in his home.
2013 Domaine du Comte Liger Belair Vosne Romanee Les Chaumes Premier Cru has following scores - CellarTracker 94. 2013 Domaine du Comte Liger Belair Vosne Romanee Les Chaumes Premier Cru has the score of 90+ from Robert Parker and the tasting note -Tasted at the Comte Liger-Belair vertical at the Château de Vosne. The 2013 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes has an outgoing and floral bouquet armed with wilted rose petals infusing the brambly red berry fruit. There is just a hint of fresh mint that emerges with time. The palate is medium-bodied with a little chewiness on the entry, sappy black and red fruit struck through with fine acidity and plenty of spice toward the finish. I would just like to see it develop more tension with bottle age.
