Long time client of Iron Gate with a significant volume of wine in professional storage. These wines are a very small portion as they look to thin down their collection.
The score for 2014 Remoissenet Pere Fils Chambertin Clos de Beze GC is 92-94 from Robert Parker and the tasting note - The 2014 Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru has a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, veering more to the former with time, just a touch of iris and dried blood emerging with time, though very subtle. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe and rounded red berry fruit, a lot of new oak evident at the moment and that will need a few years to integrate. There is a pleasant spicy touch towards the finish that lingers in the mouth, completing a well crafted Clos-de-Bèze.
