All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.

A Toronto-based collector whose passion in wine ignited while dining frequently in the city's restaurants. He then married a woman from France and spent extended periods travelling around the country, tasting wines from all the top regions. The score for 2019 Domaine des Comtes Lafon Clos de la Barre Meursault is 91-93 from Robert Parker and the tasting note - Aromas of pear, orange peel, honeycomb, toasted almonds and white flowers introduce Lafon's 2019 Meursault Clos de la Barre, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine with fine concentration, chalky structuring extract and lively acids. While its depth of fruit may lend it deceptive youthful charm, it's built to age. Dominique Lafon—joined by daughter Léa and nephew Pierre—began picking on September 5 and was very upbeat about the quality of the 2019 vintage, reporting yields in the region of 40 hectoliters per hectare and alcohol levels in the upper 13s. Both more concentrated and more incisive in white and finer-boned and more elegant in red, I'd give the nod to 2019 over 2018 in both colors at this address. And that is quite a compliment, as Lafon really excelled in 2018. In short, as Dominique hands the reins to the next generation, it's fair to say that the Domaine des Comtes Lafon is in very fine shape indeed.
