2020 Domaine de la Romanee Conti Cuvee Duvault Blochet Vosne Romanee Premier Cru from this lot has the following scores - Vinous 94 points, Burghound 92 points. This is the tasting note for 2020 Domaine de la Romanee Conti Cuvee Duvault Blochet Vosne Romanee Premier Cru from Robert Parker - The 2020 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Cuvée Duvault-Blochet is largely derived from a younger vine parcel of La Tâche, planted in 1998, that's complemented by some young vines in Grands-Échézeaux. Bursting with aromas of sweet wild berries, exotic spices and classy new oak, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, with a layered, concentrated mid-palate that's built around powdery tannins and vibrant acids. Flamboyant but nicely balanced, this is a real success in 2020. Aubert de Villaine had been barely able to contain his enthusiasm for the 2020 vintage when I saw him last year, and looking at the 2020s from bottle with Perrine Fenal at the domaine this year only confirmed why. This is a striking vintage for the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, which is both very stylistically distinctive—and in that sense, even a little atypical—but which also shows the estate's different terroirs very clearly. The 2020s aren't as sensual and red-fruited as the 2019s
