All lots are located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Confirmation of pickup or delivery of Iron Gate Commercial Auction winnings must be made within 60 days of auction close. Thereafter, your winnings will be subject to storage fees, including a $75 setup, subsequent $5.00/case/month and $1.25 per bottle fee for inventory services. If no contact has been made within two years, auction winnings will be considered abandoned.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to make all arrangements for insuring, packing and removing the property purchased and any assistance by the Auctioneer, or the employees of, agents or contractors in packing and removal shall be rendered as a courtesy and without any liability to them. A consignor located in BC who has been collecting fine spirits since 2007. Purchased through various outlets in Alberta and a few on travels, all of the bottles were stored properly in a climate-controlled environment, 13C.
Highland Park's Ice Edition is a 17-year-old Single Malt Scotch, released in 2016. It features a substantial 53.9% ABV primarily from aging in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. Inspired by the distillery's Norse heritage, the Ice Edition is part of a themed collection that started with the Valhalla series. The blue cut glass bottle and mountain-shaped wooden cradle reflect the imagery of the icy Niflheim realm from Norse mythology. The label design signifies life's cyclical nature, contributing to the overarching narrative. With a global release of 30,000 bottles, the Ice Edition holds a position of interest for whisky collectors.
