2018 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has following scores - John Gilman's View from the Cellar 95, Tim Atkin MW 95, The Wine Advocate 94, CellarTracker 94, Jasper Morris Inside Burgundy 94. 2018 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has the score of 92-94 from Robert Parker and the tasting note -The 2018 Echezeaux Grand Cru is a promising cuvée in the making, mingling aromas of dark berry fruit, cassis and cherries with notions of burning embers, dried flowers and dark chocolate. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, broad and ripely tannic, with a layered and nicely concentrated core, lively acids, and a well-defined finish. 2019 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has following scores - The Wine Advocate 96, Decanter 95 , John Gilman's View from the Cellar 94. 2019 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has the score of 96 from Robert Parker and the tasting note -The 2019 Echezeaux Grand Cru showed especially well from barrel, and it has realized all that potential in bottle. Wafting from the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries and plums mingled with exotic spices, peonies, blood orange and raw cocoa, it's full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with a broad attack and a deep, multidimensional core. Long and perfumed, it's as fine a young Echézeaux as I can remember tasting chez Dujac. 2017 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has following scores - The Wine Advocate 94, CellarTracker 93. 2017 Domaine Dujac Echezeaux Grand Cru has the score of 94 from Robert Parker and the tasting note -The 2017 Echezeaux Grand Cru is also showing very well, having gained in depth and precision in the year since I last tasted it. Opening in the glass with aromas of red berries, cherries, orange rind, sweet soil tones, spices and peonies, it's medium to full-bodied, with a broader, more textural attack than the Malconsorts, underpinned by similarly powdery tannins and lively acids. This looks to be a longer-haul proposition than I had imagined, and at least a modicum of patience will be in order.
